Car Rental at Tugu Station

Tugu Station sits right at the northern end of Malioboro Street — literally a 5-minute walk to Jogja's most famous shopping strip. This is the main station handling executive and business class trains from Jakarta (Argo Lawu, Taksaka), Bandung (Lodaya), and Surabaya (Sancaka, Argo Wilis).

Be aware that the drop-off area at Tugu Station is narrow and gets crowded, especially when multiple Jakarta trains arrive around the same time. Your Adhyasatya Tour & Travel driver will typically wait on the south side of the station, along Jl. Pasar Kembang. Exit through the south gate, walk about 30 meters, and the car will be there.

There is no additional fee since the station is in the heart of the city. From Tugu Station, the Kraton and Taman Sari are just 10 minutes south, Prawirotaman is 15 minutes, and the northern Ring Road (toward Kaliurang or Prambanan) is reachable in 20 minutes. If your train arrives after 9 PM, the streets are quiet and the driver can park closer to the exit.
