Honestly, if this is your first time in Jogja — or even if you've been here before but don't want the stress of navigating — hiring a car with driver is the most relaxing choice. Prices start at IDR 350,000/day for an Avanza with driver and in-city fuel. That already includes parking within the Jogja area. So the only things you'll pay extra for are attraction entrance tickets and your meals. Straightforward, no hidden extras sneaking in later.
