Got a group of 16-19 people? The Hiace only fits 15, and a full bus is too big and expensive. The Isuzu Elf 19-seater sits right in the middle — and price-wise, it's the most economical option for groups this size.
Prices start at IDR 800,000/day including driver and in-city fuel. Split among 19 people, that's only about IDR 42,000 per person — cheaper than two ride-hailing trips. That's why the Elf is the go-to for small-class study tours, mid-size corporate outings, and group airport transfers.
In terms of comfort, the Elf isn't as plush as the Hiace Premio. The seats are standard and the interior is functional rather than luxurious. But the AC blows cold, the seats recline, and there's decent luggage space. For getting around Jogja city or a day trip to Borobudur, the Elf is more than adequate. If you're looking at long-distance travel (6+ hours) and passengers want maximum comfort, that's when you'd consider upgrading to a Hiace Premio or bus.
Like the Hiace, the Elf is driver-only — no self-drive option. Our drivers are experienced handling the Elf on Jogja's tourist roads, including the narrow ones.

Seasonal & Peak Period Notes
The Elf gets busy during two periods:
- Eid/Lebaran: 40-60% increase. Many family groups choose the Elf for traveling together during the homecoming or pilgrimages
- Study tour season (Jan-Mar, Sep-Nov): Smaller classes that don't need a full bus usually go with the Elf. Book 2-3 weeks ahead to be safe
Outside these two periods, the Elf is generally available. But we still recommend booking a few days ahead, especially if you need it on a weekend.
