Rent Isuzu Elf in Jogja
The go-to minibus for group tours and study trips
Why do so many high school study tour organizers and university field trip coordinators end up choosing the Elf over a full-sized bus? The answer is simple: the Elf carries a good number of people (12-19 seats) but can navigate village roads that a big bus simply cannot. Want to visit the Nglanggeran ecotourism village in Gunungkidul? The Giriloyo batik village on the Imogiri hillside? The Elf can get you there, while a bus would have to park far away and leave the group walking.
The Elf Short (12-14 seats) works well for small-to-medium groups — say one office department going on an outing to Kalibiru, or an extended family reunion at Prambanan Temple. The Elf Long (17-19 seats) is right for bigger groups like a full-class study tour or a community pilgrimage. The per-person cost is remarkably low — an Elf Long at IDR 1,000,000 per day split among 17 people comes to just about IDR 59,000 per person.
Worth knowing: the Elf is not as luxurious as the Hiace Premio. The seats are standard (not premium reclining), and you will feel more vibration on rough roads. But in terms of value for money for group travel, the Elf is hard to beat. The AC holds its own, the rear luggage area is spacious enough for suitcases and souvenir bags, and our drivers are well-practiced at navigating the rural roads around Jogja.
