When your group is 30 people or more — whether a company outing, a high school field trip, or a mosque community pilgrimage — you need a bus. There is no realistic way to coordinate 5-6 separate cars and expect everyone to arrive at Borobudur together at 8 AM. With a bus, everyone departs together, chats together, and arrives together. That is its value.
For groups of 25-35, a medium bus is the right call — its more compact size can still navigate some of the narrower roads leading to certain tourist destinations. For groups of 40-50, a big bus comes equipped with an onboard toilet, LCD entertainment system, and an under-floor luggage compartment that holds dozens of suitcases. Even an 8-9 hour Jogja-to-Bandung journey feels manageable.
Something important to keep in mind: big buses cannot access every tourist location. Some places like the Prambanan Temple area and Taman Sari have limited bus parking that is a fair walk from the entrance.
