Breksi Cliff
Instagrammable Natural Stone Amphitheater
This used to be an abandoned ordinary stone quarry. Then local residents had a brilliant idea: carve reliefs on the cliff walls, build stairs to the top, and create a natural amphitheater. The result? Breksi Cliff — one of the most creative tourism transformations in Jogja.
From the top of these white stone cliffs, you can see the airport runway, Jogja city, and on clear days, Mount Merapi in the distance. Golden hour (3-5 PM) is best for photos — angled light illuminates the cliff wall carvings and turns the white stone golden. Tickets IDR 10,000. Near Prambanan, easy to combine.
